You broke bread
And passed out wine
And said
Remember
Me

Because you knew
We would
Forget
You,

The very thing
We need
To bring to mind;
The very thing
That changes everything,
You,

The game changer,
The rule breaker,
The love lavisher,
The finisher,
The exclamation point,
The champion,
And the winner.

You wanted us
To remember You,
God wrapped in skin,

Who died
For our sin
And now is wrapped in
Our
skin;

You beside,
You before,
You behind,
You, so near

Help us to remember
That You,
Are right here.
