When my kids were little we would often pray an ABC adoration prayer. It was kind of a game and prayer all in one. We would go through the alphabet and think of the things we love about God that start with each letter and tell Him so!

It was good for my soul to pray this way before we listed all of our troubles. Somehow when we were done problems didn’t t seem so big.

When we increase our view of God our earthly troubles fade in His shadow and rightly so, for nothing is too big or hard or complicated for our Father. That’s the beauty of prayer and praise and why I think He calls us to it; to set our minds on Him. He is the perfect place to find all we are longing for.
