Where did you go?

Where did you go,
Oh soul of mine,
Swallowed up
By all those worries and cares?
Did you forget you have Jesus
Living in there ?

Did you side step Him once again,
And go your own way?
Did you forget
All He has to say?

Lift your head and look up once more.
He is the one who came to restore,
Redeem,
And claim you, His own

Remember,
He is your home.

He is the place
Where you can rest and abide.
He is the safest place
To hide,
And His spirit is yours
He lives inside.

All those worries that fill your mind,
It’s time to leave them
Far behind.

Each one, now,
Belongs to Him
He is able
And is taking care of them

He is yours for all of time.
