Together Forever

You will never

Ever leave me,

Never step out of the room,

Never have an errand to run,

Another place to go,

A trip to take,

A phone call to answer,

A text to read,

Or someone more important

To see,

You’ll never say:

“I’ll be back,”

“Hold on,”

“I can’t come,”

“I’m busy,”

Or, “When I get back.”

You will

Never, ever,

Say goodbye.

Have a meeting to go to

Or an important event

That takes You from me,

Because You say,

I am Your main thing,

And staying next to me

That’s Your promise

Sealed by blood.

I am Your desire

And Your heart,

It’s melded

To mine,

We go together,

Stuck together for

All time- like,

Salt and pepper,

Bacon and eggs,

It’s me and You

Inseparable,

Forever and

For always.
